Verizon hotspot speeds: ‘Theoretically, you could be at 90%’

  • August 26, 2021

Theoretically you could get 100Mbps, Verizon says.

But the company has confirmed that, based on data from its network, you can’t reach the speeds of its network in the UK.

“We are aware of the concerns and are working on addressing them, and we look forward to meeting you in person to share more information about our network in order to improve customer experience and provide you with more information as we do,” the company said in a blog post.

Verizon says it’s investigating the issue, and it’s working with customers to ensure that they are given the best possible experience.

The company says the issue is affecting customers in the United States, Europe and Australia, and that it has been unable to replicate it in the rest of the world.

It’s not the first time the carrier has struggled to offer high-speed internet in the country, with a similar issue affecting customers at the start of the year.

In January, Verizon announced that it would introduce an upgrade program for customers in Australia to get 5G internet speeds, and to use a new Wi-Fi hotspot called Hotspot 2.0.
