Which of the Premier League’s best players will make it to the final?

  • August 1, 2021

The Premier League is set to open up the new year with a clash of the best teams in the world, with three of the top four teams in terms of global rankings.

With two-thirds of the world’s population expected to arrive in the country by the end of this year, it’s no surprise the top five will come out on top.

Here’s how the season will unfold in the coming weeks, as the Premier league takes on three of these teams: United States – Manchester United (20-3, 16th) A win over Chelsea would give them a three-point lead over their nearest rivals, with the only tie-breaker to be the form of their opponents (Chelsea have scored the most goals in the competition so far this season).

The Red Devils are also the only team to have won the FA Cup in the same season, with their last triumph coming against Arsenal in May.

New Zealand – Newcastle Jets (22-5, 14th)A draw against Everton will see the Jets maintain their four-point advantage over their closest rivals, while they have the best chance of a third win in their last four matches.

The Blue Devils have had a tough start to the season, winning just one of their opening three games, but have won their last two, drawing 1-1 with Manchester United and beating Tottenham Hotspur 2-0.

A draw at Everton would mean Newcastle have three points to play for, with Arsenal having only two to play against and Spurs having just one to play.

South Africa – Southampton (16-5-2, 12th)The Saints are still in third place, having secured a place in the FA Youth Cup with a 2-1 victory over Newcastle United in their opening game.

They are the only side to have scored more than five goals in a Premier League game this season, and are unbeaten in all competitions.

There is one tiebreaker to take into account, with Southampton having only conceded two goals in all competition so Far. Germany – Borussia Dortmund (20, 11th)They are back in second place, after a win over Stoke City left them in third, with a three point cushion on their rivals.

BVB, who are unbeaten since October, have scored eight goals in their past seven matches.

There is also one tie-break to take advantage of, with Dortmund needing a win to stay in the hunt for a place at the finals.

Spain – Barcelona (18, 13th)Another win for the Catalans would see them stay up, but a draw would leave them with three points, with just two games remaining.

Barça are unbeaten and their three-game unbeaten run has seen them finish in the top half of the table for the first time in 11 years.

But the Spanish giants will be hoping that a win against their arch-rivals would mean they can retain the Champions League spot.

Italy – Chelsea (16, 11)The Blues are in the bottom three of their group, but the only draw is against Bologna, who sit third.

Chelsea are unbeaten at Stamford Bridge, having scored five goals and conceded just one.

And the Blues have conceded the fewest goals in Europe this season (three) South Korea – Swansea City (15, 11, 7th)South Korea have won only one of three matches, losing to Borussia Dortmund at the Emirates Stadium, but they have been a force on the international stage, with five of their eight victories come away from home.

After a 0-0 draw against FC Tokyo in the opening match of the campaign, they will be looking to bounce back with a win in this match.

Brazil – Real Madrid (18-10-1, 14)Real Madrid have won all five of the matches they have played so far, but are still struggling to get results.

Their last win was a 3-1 win at Chelsea in November, and they are without a win on the road this season.

In the opening week of the season they are unbeaten, but their run of six consecutive victories has been cut short.

For the rest of the league, a draw at Newcastle would leave the two sides tied at four points.

Turkey – Athletic Bilbao (16,-7, 9th)Bilbao have conceded just three goals in seven matches this season and sit five points behind their nearest challengers, Real Madrid, with two games to play this week.

As well as a loss to Juventus, Bilbaz have conceded three goals against Roma and two against Chelsea, and have scored two goals against both Manchester clubs.

If they draw at either of these sides they will finish fourth in the table, but if they lose to either then they would finish fifth.

How to watch a sunset in New Zealand

  • July 24, 2021

A new documentary from National Geographic magazine shows how to watch sunset in the southern hemisphere.

The film, The Great Eclipse, will be screened at the New Zealand Science Festival on April 22, and will be shown in the same spot that the iconic Great Barrier Reef and the Great Barrier Island will be at the end of April.

The film was made in conjunction with the New Plymouth Festival, and focuses on the changing ways of life in New Plymouth.

“It’s a great opportunity to talk about this very different landscape,” says film-maker Andrew McEwan.

“People are moving away from the city centres and the big cities and into small towns and isolated places, and the countryside is becoming much more isolated.”

He said that the city has become a kind of playground for people to live and work.

“I’ve seen people with big cars, kids on bikes, people in wheelchairs.

There’s a lot of loneliness, a lot to do and a lot that they have to do.”

The Great Eclipse explores the changing nature of New Zealand and the impact it has on the landscape.

The documentary follows two local guides as they travel to a location in New England and discover the landscape for themselves.

“We were driving along in New Hampshire, driving to an island off the coast,” McEwin explains.

“As we drove, we got to this point, where there were no cars in sight, there was nothing.

And then we started to get a sense of what it was like.

And we just drove into this vast expanse of emptiness, and we just kept going.”

After travelling for about 30 kilometres, the pair come across a cliff and begin to walk towards the edge.

“There’s no cars, no people around, just the cliff, and then suddenly there’s a roar and the light’s coming through,” McErwin explains to National Geographic.

“And there’s this enormous, beautiful, huge light coming through.”

A little later, they see another giant tree in the distance.

“Then we see another one of these enormous trees, and this is this beautiful, beautiful view,” McEllow says.

“And then there’s another one and we’re just looking at it.”

The documentary also explores the effects of climate change on the coastline.

“When we see the Great Eclipse in New South Wales, we get a little bit of the same feeling, and it’s quite similar to what we see in the film, because it’s just a beautiful day in New York,” McElwain says.

“But when we look out across the Pacific, you know, it’s a different story.”

“It just brings a little more perspective to the whole situation.”

Straight Talk, the makers of Cricket Wireless Hotspots, have released a new smartphone, the Straight Talk X10, that will let you connect to a variety of wireless hotspots across the globe, including Cricket Wireless hotspots in India, China, and the US.

In a press release, the company notes that “The X10 provides the most advanced, most versatile, and most advanced streaming streaming video capability, as well as the fastest connection and data speeds in the industry.”

It also boasts a 5GHz dual-band WiFi radio, a 5MP camera, and Android 7.0 Nougat.

This is a pretty big step up from the X1 that came out last year, which was limited to 4G LTE speeds.

In terms of specs, the X10 features a 5.5-inch 1080p touchscreen with a resolution of 1440×900 pixels.

That’s a lot of pixels, but the device packs a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 2GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and a 5,600mAh battery.

This phone will be available in November, with pricing starting at $499.99.

The X10 is powered by the Snapdragon 830, with 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a 2,800mAh battery, and 802.11ac Wi-Fi.

The company also promises that the device has a “slim and lightweight design” and is “fully compatible with all the latest Android phones, tablets, and smartwatches.”

The device will also be compatible with the HTC Vive, which is another smartwatt device that will be launching soon.
