BYLINE: LEE GARBETTAssociated Press – APRIL 01, 202013:15PMLAHORE, Pakistan (AP) Saudi Arabia’s crown prince has posted a video online showing fighters carrying mobile phones in the wake of a deadly suicide bombing in the southern Saudi city of Najran, which has left at least 40 dead and many more wounded.

Al-Sudairi posted the video Friday, after his government issued a statement saying the suicide bomber had killed himself in the city.

The video shows two women carrying phones with text messages and photos of wounded men.

They say they are going to Najran for an emergency meeting.

The Saudi Interior Ministry later released a statement to say the bomber had called on his family to go to Najra.

A Saudi source told The Associated Press that Saudi security forces had arrested a Saudi national who carried out the bombing.

The Interior Ministry did not provide a further comment.

A statement by Saudi Interior Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal said the Saudi government has taken all necessary measures to ensure that the safety of the country is not jeopardized in the face of any kind of terrorist acts.

It also said the attack would not be tolerated in Saudi Arabia, where a deadly attack in the capital Riyadh on Jan. 6 left more than 50 people dead and nearly 700 wounded.
